Environment
Our commitment to promoting and developing the best environmental practice is highlighted with our ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification. Throughout our mill and manufacturing processes, we seek to be more efficient, reducing our waste and limit our own environmental impact. We work with suppliers whose ethics and values are aligned with our own to ensure we are doing what we can to minimise the environmental impact.
We take responsibility for creating wider benefits both within and around our business and endeavour to make our impact a positive one. We are fully committed to adding value to the communities within which we work, fostering relationships through sourcing local labour, equipment and materials where possible.
Sustainability
We are committed to a sustainable future and playing a part in preserving the planet, therefore we continually adapt to find new ways to support this. We continue to support our supply chain, developing partnerships to improve sustainable methods and that every step is complying to the highest animal welfare standards. Wherever possible any new yarns introduced into the yarn store will be sustainable sourced.
Our policy is rooted in an approach complying with the fundamental principles of animal welfare adhering to the five freedoms as defined by the World Organisation for Animal Health.
